The Lufthansa reindeer game is back. Win prizes by helping Santa find happy reindeer at Lufthansa. The more reindeers you find the greater the prize. With a bit of luck you could win a long-haul flight for 2 people on Lufthansa.
You can search for reindeer on Lufthansa.com or they can come to you. Each reindeer wants to be fed daily on a fir cone. So that they feel comfortable, the reindeer have to be groomed every 3 days. A nice enclosure is important to, because reindeer value a little luxury. Happy reindeer breed.
Stamina points restrict your actions within the enclosure. As soon as you feed or brush a reindeer, you will lose one stamina point. For every tree you plant, 5 stamina points will be deducted. But don't worry, you regain your stamina and it increases as the game progresses.
Keep the happiness index high. The Happiness Index indicates how happy your reindeer herd is. If it stays above 75% for 3 days, you may hope for offspring. To increase the Happiness Index, you should feed and groom your reindeer regulary and provide them with a very comfortable enclosure.
If things go consistently well in your enclosure, perhaps a squirrel will visit and give you a present of 2 fir cones - but only if you are logged in on this particular day.

Participation in the Lufthansa ‘Club Reindeer’ competition is free of charge and voluntary. Persons who have completed their 18th year at the point of participation are entitled to participate in the prize draw. Employees of the Lufthansa Group and employees of the company connected to the competition and their relatives are excluded from entering the competition.
Lufthansa reserves the right to exclude participants who seek to gain benefit through manipulation. In such cases the prize may be withdrawn subsequently and a new winner may be drawn. Lufthansa shall not be held responsible for any technical problems during the registration process.
It is only possible to participate in the prize draw for the Lufthansa long-haul flight for two if you have collected 19 to 21 reindeer. The participant must add these to their ‘enclosure’ on lufthansa.com/club-ren-en between 1 December and 17.59 hours on 24 December 2010. The competition ends at 18.00 hours (6 p.m.) on Christmas Eve. Lufthansa is giving away the following prizes in the draw:
at the first competition stage (1-3 reindeer): one of 1,000 promotion codes, worth €20 at the second competition stage (4-6 reindeer): one of 100 iTunes gift vouchers, worth €50 at the third competition stage (7-9 reindeer): one of 30 Lufthansa beach towels at the fourth competition stage (10-12 reindeer): one of seven Nikon Coolpix digital cameras at the fifth competition stage (13-15 reindeer): one of six De’Longhi Nespresso Citiz&Milk espresso machines at the sixth competition stage (16-18 reindeer): one of four Rimowa Lufthansa A380 Multiwheel® Airlight trolley cases at the seventh competition stage (19-21 reindeer): an outbound and return flight for two people in Economy Class to a Lufthansa destination of their choice worldwide.
The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence shall be entered into. The prizes can only be booked subject to availability. Handing over the prizes to the winners releases Lufthansa from any obligation. It is not possible to receive cash payments or to change or exchange the prizes. Prize entitlements are not transferable. Insofar as legally permissible, Lufthansa is not liable for defects in the prizes. The prize draw is subject to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The winners will be notified personally by e-mail after the prize draw. If participation is excluded for legal or actual reasons, or if the winner does not respond to the winning notification by 31.01.2011, the prize shall expire.
