Flight price inflation now 32%!
Chingk chingk chingk go the airlines cash registers - if inflation in South Africa is meant to be waning, then somebody forgot to pass the message to Kulula, BA, SAA, Mango, 1time & Interlink. Flight price inflation in South Africa is currently running at 32% - this is an unofficial number - I don't think there are any official numbers for flight price inflation, as I believe that Stats SA excludes air travel from the basket of goods used to calculate South Africa's official rate of inflation (something to do with it being too low a percentage of household spend).
