The Eastern Cape is the second largest of South Africa's provinces (measured by surface area). Blessed with natural beauty, the province is a region of mountain ranges, undulating hills, sandy beaches, and green green forests. Its surface area ranges from the lush forests of the Keiskamma Valley & the Wild Coast to the stunning desolation of the Karoo, the fertile Langkloof (with its apple orchards) to the mountainous southern Drakensberg.
The province's coast is lapped by the warm Indian Ocean (perfect temperature for swimming).
