Barbara Davis
Barbara was born in Cape Town and has spent most of her life in Cape Town. She is married and has 1 daughter. From 1980 to 1992 she and her husband were transferred to various provinces but they have been in Cape Town since 1992. She has spent most of her working career working in the Human Resources field in the insurance industry. Her interest in travelling began at an early age but her first trip overseas was in 1981 when she and her husband hired a camper van and travelled around Britain and Europe for 6 weeks. Their next long trip was in 1983 when they hired a car and travelled from New York, down to Key West and then across the United States to Los Angeles. Subsequent to that, they have travelled extensively to United States, Europe, Scandinavia, Singapore, Zimbabwe and around South Africa. Now that she has left the corporate world, she and her husband hope to do some more travelling, both locally and internationally.
