Cape Town is arguably the best holiday spot in South Africa, but is also known for being the priciest. In this article, we highlight a range of quality accommodation options going for under R1000 per night. The information in this document was correct at the date of writing (23 Feb 2017), but will change. We looked at the prices for Friday the 16th of June 2017 until Sunday the 18th of June 2017.
Finding accommodation for under R1000 per night for 2 people sharing is a lot harder than for 1 person alone, with fewer choices. But there are some quality options which are well positioned in the city centre, De Waterkant, Bantry Bay, Sea Point and Green Point; all just a cheap Uber drive from the V&A, the city and the beautiful white beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay.
