Bierfest is coming to South African shores once again! The original Oktoberfest in Munich has been attracting millions of people every year for the last 200 years. This year a small part of the world’s largest festival will be coming to Newlands!

Bierfest in Cape Town will be as authentic a Bavarian Brauhaus festival is it comes, There will be limited edition beers available that were brewed specifically for the event. Food lovers will be able to tuck into German food while Oompah bands play some of the most famous German tunes in history! One of the highlights of the festival is the best dressed competition which sees attendees competing to become the best dressed Kind Ludwig and Princess Therese to win some amazing prizes. Get ready for festivity, great music, beer pong and Bavarian!

The festival will be taking place at the Newlands Brewery, from the 14th to the 16th of November 2014. The festival will be open from 6pm to 11pm on the 14th from 11am to 4pm and from 6pm to 11pm on the 15th as well as from 12pm to 5pm on the 16th. Tickets cost R150pp per day.
