December 2013. South African Airways adds Air New Zealand's twice weekly Perth to Christchurch flight as a codeshare, meaning you can fly 1-stop from Johannesburg to Christchurch (via Perth). "We have seen great interest in travel to South Africa from New Zealand recreational and business passengers and this new initiative will definitely mean less time in the air and one of the most convenient ways to get to the wonders of the African continent.
