(since 11 Feb 2012 BA suspended their Nelspruit - Johannesburg flights)
I wasn't originally going to write about this flight, but I thought it was so sweet of Kulula to send me an email reminder( even including the weather prediction at my destination), that I thought I'd put pen to paper and give them kudos (we'd booked through the Kulula website, but Kulula doesn't actually have a presence in Nelspruit, it's run by its sister brand - Comair British Airways). As you can see in the photo, you don't have to walk far at Kruger Airport, the BA Boeing parks literally on your doorstep!
Check-in queue was non-existent. There's an interesting check-in area at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport - all the airlines are bunched together in one area - BA, Airlink and Fedair - I hope they're mates and party a lot together.
The flight was piloted by Lyndsay (didnt' catch her surname) and there's not much to write about - a flight without incident is a good thing! Here's a video of her take-off from Kruger Airport:
And her landing at O.R. Tambo International Airport:
Once again, it felt fantastic to have so much leg space (in economy class) - my observation is that British Airways economy class offers the most seat space out of all airlines in South Africa.
First a classic bit of Kulula humour in the form of a funny picture.
Dear John The crew of MN6252 can't wait to welcome you, our favourite jetsetter onboard and will do their best to make your flight as comfy as possible.
Make sure you don't have to rush around at the airport. The check-in counters open 90 minutes before your flight departs and closes promptly 30 minutes prior to departure. There is no online check-in facility for your flight/s.
Booking reference: 10810 Flight details (Here's a photo of an Airlink plane we saw at the Kruger Airport)
If you can't close your suitcase, don't panic!

Once we landed in Johannesburg, I snapped this shot of our BA plane parked at O.R. Tambo:
