South African Railways | Shosholoza Meyl
The Shosholoza Meyl app allows travellers to book their tickets on long haul sleeper trains through their mobile device. People travelling from Cape Town to Johannesburg or Durban to Johannesburg for instance, can now book their tickets through this app. There has not been a lot of information released by South African Railways regarding this app as it was only launched very recently. One can choose between Premium, Deluxe or Economy Sleeper Class when booking through the app and one can also book ones car transport through the app. If you do not feel like driving down to Cape Town over the December holidays but you still need your car there, just book a spot for your car on the train through the app. Fly to Cape Town where your car will be waiting for you, easy as that.

This app is extremely informative for every traveller within South Africa, locals and foreigners alike. This app has ample information regarding all of the towns and tourist attractions throughout South Africa loaded onto it. The information is up to date and always very informative. The Mango App was launched along with a R1 flights sale by Mango. People needed to download and book their flights through the app to get access to flights from as little as one ran.
