Kulula R499 Durban - Joburg |
22 Jan 2009 flights |
I hope you all had a blessed day yesterday, regardless of culture or creed. Giving and receiving are universal spiritual principles, and today we give to you this Durban to Johannesburg flight survey. Kulula's price of R499 is their cheapest since our 9 August 2008 DUR-JNB survey. The Mango Flex and Mango Plus prices are the cheapest we've ever seen, and with only R26 seperating them, only those who are absolutely certain about their flight times not changing should book standard Mango tickets instead of Mango Flex.

"The Shosholoza Meyl takes twenty-four hours, only few of which I gratefully slept through. For me it is a speeded-up epoch. I am not the same person I was in Pretoria, only a week before having just been terminated by my South-African lover. I arrived, elated to meet him after three months of online courtesy, courtship, and growing anticipation; had one week of explosive passion in Pretoria; then it abruptly ended, like dismemberment. Weightless and disoriented I'm sucked inward. My life must move on like this damned train, but my heart pulls backward, sapping interest in the view." extract from "Looking for Love in Faraway Places". Buy your books at Kalahari books.
Amanda, from Texas, took a wonderful series of photos of Johannesburg - she's quite the photographer. Some of her comments:
"around the city we saw huge piles of dirt"
"we'd never seen so many high walled compounds, so many fences & barbed wire, or guard shacks"
"(the high rises) reminded me very much of the apartments of New York City"
" people generally want the same thing all around the globe"
