Citilink operates cheap intercity buses accros South Africa's Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng provinces. Note that Citilink are not the same entity as Citiliner Plus or PRASA's City to City. Citilink is the trading name of a company with registration number 2014/269611/07. Citilink have the same director as Katiso (aka "Katiso Lux"), which operates buses from Johannesburg and Pretoria to Bulawayo and Harare (Zimbabwe). Citilink and Katiso's director, Ghalib Ismail, was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Eagle Liner.

Cancellations

Cancellations are permitted up to 9 hours before departure and incur a 20% cancellation fee. If the new fare is higher, the fare difference must also be paid. Cancellations requested after departure will only be refunded if due to the death or hospitalisation of the ticketed passenger, subject to a 20% cancellation fee and valid documentation.

Cancellations and Rebookings

Tickets may be rebooked for the next available seat on the same route, provided the request is made at least 6 hours prior to departure. Rebookings incur a 20% fee, and any fare difference for a higher-priced ticket must be paid. Only one rebooking is allowed per ticket, and rebooked tickets are non-refundable.
