Breakfast, walking tour of Angola's recent history. Lunch beside the vast Cassai River—spot fishermen! Tea, formal dinner to Luau border. Adjust watches forward one hour.

Day 5: DRC Leisure

Breakfast till 10am during border formalities. Relax onboard through Malonga. Lunch, tea, "Africa" themed or smart casual dinner to Kasaji.

Day 6: Scenic Traverse

Breakfast till 10am, unwind as landscapes unfold past Mutshatsha. Lunch, tea, formal dinner to Kolwezi.

Day 7: Copper Mine Marvel

Early breakfast till 8am, disembark for a tour of one of the world's richest copper/cobalt sites. Brunch at Katebi Lodge, then tea and formal dinner to Sofumwango.

Day 8: Lubumbashi Drive

Breakfast till 10am, lunch onboard. Afternoon city tour of Lubumbashi. Formal dinner to Sakania border. Pack an overnight bag for safari—warm clothes and walking shoes essential.

Day 9: South Luangwa Safari Begins (Zambia)

Breakfast till 9:30am. Fly to the 9,050km² park, a wildlife haven with dramatic escarpments and the serpentine Luangwa River, and one of Africa's most diverse and abundant wildlife populations. Lunch at camp, afternoon game drive, casual dinner overnight.

Days 10-11: Luangwa Wildlife Immersion

Wake at 6am for continental breakfast and 3-hour morning drive—spot elephants, lions, leopards! Brunch, leisure, high tea, evening drive. Casual dinners at camp.

Day 12: Back to Rails

Morning game drive (2 hours), breakfast, fly to Ndola, rejoin train. Lunch onboard to Kapiri Mposhi, tea, formal dinner to Ngwerere.

Day 13: Elephants & River Cruise

Breakfast till 9am, visit Lusaka's elephant sanctuary for heartwarming rescues. Lunch, then sunset cruise on the Kafue River (drinks included). Formal dinner.
