On 9 Aug 2025 The Blue Train pulled up into Victoria Falls Railway Station for the first time since 2013 (ignoring a 2021 test journey with not pax on board); and having first done the route in 1997. Blue Train Manager, Ms Mosa Matlhtsi said ”We are so excited to bring our guests to Africa’s most iconic destination. We are promising to bring more people on this route. We are backed by popular demand. Our clients are so happy, and we are already all over social media and are getting questions and inquiries about our next trip. We will be back in a few weeks.” Note that The Blue Train does not have scheduled departures for Victoria fall and rates; if you want to book them to Vic Falls you'll have to charter the entire train!
