Book Intercape Student Discount

Being a student may feel like one is always scrounging to save money, but it has its perks. If you are registered as a student at a university or other tertiary institution, then you qualify to get a 5% discount on Flexi and Full Flexi Intercape bus tickets (the student discount is not available on saver class tickets). To prevent a faker from masquerading as a student, student travellers must produce their Student ID when they buy your bus ticket. And if you're worrying about non-students losing out, they have their own deals like the Intercape pensioner discount.

Most of the time, for students, the price of saver class tickets is still lower than the the discounted value of the flexi class ticket, so the cheapest Intercape bus tickets for students is the saver class (with no discount); however the flexi class tickets allows 5kg more luggage and has a lower amendment fee.

Use the booking engine above to make your flexi or full flexi ticket booking; when you get to the "Discount" item (see photo below) make sure that you select "Student (5% with Student Card)" from the dropdown menu.

Students who book their ride via www.southafrica.to, may put their creative juices to work and email a writeup of their bus trip and photo to rob@southafrica.to, and we will send you a small voucher to discount their next bus journey booked via us.
