Book Intercape Student Discount
Being a student may feel like one is always scrounging to safe money, but it has its perks. If you are registered as a student at a university or other tertiary institution, then you qualify to get a 5% discount on Flexi and Full Flexi Intercape bus tickets (the student discount is not available on saver class tickets). To prevent fakers from masquerading as a student, you must produce your Student ID when you buy your bus ticket. And if you're worrying about non-students losing out, they have their own deals like the Intercape pensioner discount.
Use the booking engine above to make your flexi or full flexi ticket booking; when you get to the "Discount" item (see photo below) make sure that you select "Student (5% with Student Card)" from the dropdown menu.

2017 Shoprite Intercape Double Student Discount
Keep an eye on Shoprite and especially Intercape's social media pages; for instance in 2017 in this deal on Intercape bus tickets prices at Shoprite, students could get double their usual discount if they booked and paid at Shoprite and Checkers money market counters! They simultaneously ran double discounts for pensioners, SANDF and SAP members who booked Intercape tickets - it was a good time!
