This promotion ended on Monday the 30th June 2025. Book and pay for any bus ticket (including Intercape and Big Sky Intercity; as well as Greyhound Premium, Intercity Xpress and Eagleliner) at a Pick n Pay store and enter your Smart Shopper card details before making payment. The promotion allows the participants to be eligible to receive 3X Smart Shopper points on the full fare of any bus ticket booked or paid for at a Pick n Pay store (this equates to 1.5% of value back in terms of smart shopper points, which can be doubled to 3.0% if swapped for Intercape vouchers - maximum of R50 x 2 vouchers worth R100 x 2 = R200 can be used to discount an Intercape ticket).

• 1.1 The promoter to this promotion is Pick n Pay Retailers (Pty) Ltd (“Pick n Pay”) (registration number: 1973/004739/07), a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa and having its registered address at 101 Rosmead Avenue, Kenilworth, 7708.
• 1.2 The affiliate to this promotion is FlightSite (Pty) Ltd (“FlightSite”) (registration number: 2004/021024/07), a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa and having its registered address at 1 Waterhouse Pl, Century City, Cape Town, 7441.
• 1.3 All persons entering the Pick n Pay Smart Shopper Promotion ("the participant") agree that the promotion rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on them. A copy of these terms and conditions is available at www.pnp.co.za.

2 IMPORTANT NOTICE

• 2.1 These terms and conditions and promotional offer rules contain certain terms and conditions which appear in similar text style to this clause and which:
  • 2.1.1 may limit the risk or liability of the promoter or a third party; and/or
  • 2.1.2 may create risk or liability for the participant; and/or
  • 2.1.3 may compel the participant to indemnify the promoter or a third party; and/or
  • 2.1.4 serves as an acknowledgement, by the participant, of a fact.
• 2.2 The participant’s attention is drawn to these terms and conditions because they are important and should be carefully noted.

• 2.4 The participant acknowledges that by partaking in the promotional offer he/she has been given an appropriate opportunity to first read these terms and conditions before participating and that he/she understands and agrees to the terms and conditions.
• 2.5 All participants to this promotional offer participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions, the participant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless the promoters and Pick n Pay Stores Limited and any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by or is in common control with Pick n Pay (“the Pick n Pay Group”); their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the promotional offer and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or wilful misconduct of any indemnified party.

3 RULES OF THE PROMOTIONAL OFFER

• 3.1 This Pick n Pay Smart Shopper Promotion ("the promotion") starts at 09:00am on 01 June 2025 and ends at 23:59pm on 30 June 2025
• 3.2 The promotion allows the qualifying participants to be eligible for the following:
  • 3.2.1 To receive 3X Smart Shopper points on the full fare of any bus ticket booked or paid for at a Pick n Pay store. This includes instances where participants book a bus ticket online on FlightSites’ website.
• 3.3 To participate in the promotion, the participant must: -
  • 3.3.1 book and pay for any bus ticket at a Pick n Pay store and enter their Smart Shopper card details before making payment; or
  • 3.3.2 book any bus ticket on the FlightSite website www.flightsite.co.za and opt to make payment at a Pick n Pay store, and also enter their Smart Shopper card number on the website during the booking process before making payment in-store.
• 3.4 The Smart Shopper points for bus travel bookings are loaded onto the respective Smart Shopper card in the beginning of the following month after payment has been made for the booking.
• 3.5 The Smart Shopper points will not be allocated if a bus ticket has been cancelled.
• 3.6 The Smart Shopper points are loaded onto the card at the entrant’s own risk. The risk shall reside with the entrant once transferred onto their card. The entrant indemnifies the promoters for any loss or damage, including unauthorised use or fraud, that may be suffered by the entrant.
• 3.7 The Smart Shopper points awarded shall be subjected to the standard Smart Shopper terms and conditions found at https://www.pnp.co.za/pnpstorefront/smart-shopper-t&c.
• 3.8 In order to qualify as a participant for this promotion: -
  • 3.8.2 the participant must live in the Republic of South Africa;
  • 3.8.3 the participant must provide correct and full personal details, as required;
  • 3.8.4 the participant must be 18 years old or older;
  • 3.8.5 the participant cannot be a juristic entity and must be an individual; and
  • 3.8.6 the participant is a registered Pick n Pay Smart Shopper.

4 DATA PRIVACY

• 4.1 Personal Information means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person and where its applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person including but not limited to defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act (“POPIA”).
• 4.2 The entrants hereby consent to provide the promoters with the relevant personal information required in order to enter the competition as well as allow the promoter to share the personal information with the designated third-parties.
• 4.3 In addition, the entrant also agrees to the promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.pnp.co.za/privacy-policy.
• 4.4 All personal information shared within the context of the competition will be treated as confidential and shall only be processed for the sole purpose of the competition. Any other processing of any personal information by the designated third-parties and promoter (“all parties”) is prohibited.
• 4.5 It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide accurate personal information otherwise the promoter would not be able to comply with the Data Protection and Privacy Laws of South Africa.

5 GENERAL

• 5.1 By participating in this promotional offer and by these terms and conditions, the participants are participating in a promotional offer for the purposes of the CPA and the promotional offer will be conducted by the relevant provisions of the CPA.
• 5.2 Pick n Pay reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions as well as terminate the promotion at any time. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Pick n Pay, its advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents.
