South Africa's Railways

With the severe decline in passenger rail services, most of South Africa's railway infrastructure is used only for freight. Remaining short distance train services are provided by PRASA/Metrorail and long distance train passenger services are provided by Rovos Rail (ultra luxury), The Blue Train (ultra luxury) and to a small extent PRASA (they are trying to resurrect Shosholoza Meyl and Premier Classe).
