Book a flight nowMango Madness Limited Sale

Usually the Mango Sales start at 9am, but this time it starts at 9pm on the 5th November 2013, and runs until 4pm on the 6th of November 2013. The special is for selected flights up to the 30th November 2013 (this contrasts with the Kulula flight sale, where they ran the specials in the new year).

Also interesting is that usually the flight specials are called Mango Happy Days Sales, but this time we see it's branded a Mango Madness Limited Sale. According to our records, the last time it was called a "Mango Madness" sale, was on the 12th Oct 2012, when there was a 5 hour sale.

The Purple Shall Rule!

I had not spoken to my friend for a while and thought we would be able to meet up in Bali but he had delayed his flight back home. I was alone in Bali and just by chance I met up with a childhood friend in the most random bar in Bali. This was a cause for celebration so we had a wild party that night. I woke up the next morning with a huge hangover, my flight home was the next evening but I realized my pouch (which had my passport, US dollars and a few other documents) in my bag had been stolen out of the hotel room. This was the biggest disaster of my life. I was in the middle of a random island with no passport and the South African embassy was in Jakarta, a completely different Island. I was also running short with money as I had budgeted to leave the next evening but my reserve Dollars had been stolen with my passport. After spending a painful week to get to Jakarta and apply for a temporary passport I was finally able to leave Jakarta and get to Singapore. This would have been an impossible job if Singapore Airlines hadn't been so helpful and sympathetic during these times.
