Malaysia Airlines is suspending its flights from Cape Town & Johannesburg, with the last flights departing on 31 January 2012. This reduces options on many flight routes, from Sydney to Buenos Aires.

Avis Coach Charter, has been acquired by Avis Rent a Car (previously it was a licensee business). “Avis Rent a Car now owns 75% of the company, with former licensee, Nobbie Marais, owning the remaining 25%.” said Keith Rankin, Chief Executive of Avis Southern Africa. Nobbie Marais has 28 years’ experience in the business and remains on board as general manager of Avis Coach Charter.
