Following the October announcement that Thursday flights would be dropped, Precision Air confirms that it will start flying Johannesburg - Dar es Salaam from 17 Nov. Flights are scheduled to leave JNB at 23h50 and arrive in Dar es Salaam at 04h20. |

Comair reduces its BA flight frequency between JNB & Dar es Salaam to 3 weekly; leaving Joburg on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and returning on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays. Comair’s Executive Manager for Network Development and Alliances, Stuart Cochrane, said that "Generally, the uptake on this particular route has been satisfactory. However, as part of an annual scheduling revision process, Comair is currently investigating all existing routes in a bid to identify areas of improvement. Where required, Comair is introducing measures to ensure enhanced operational efficiency by either increasing or reducing the number of flights, or deploying smaller aircraft to optimally service that particular market. We’re looking forward to reintroducing our superior service offering to this particular market towards the latter part of the year." |
