"Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:
The First Car Rental 25 Years of Firsts Birthday Promotion ("Promotion") is open to legal residents of South Africa aged 18 years or older at the time of entry (Should you be between the ages of 18-23 then you will have to nominate a driver older than 23 to make use of the car rental component of this competition). Employees of First Car Rental, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.

Promotion Period:
The Promotion begins on 02 May 2024 and ends on 30 June 2024 ("Promotion Period"). Entries submitted outside of the Promotion Period will not be eligible for participation.

How to Enter:
To enter the Promotion, participants must:
Complete the official entry form at https://enduser.firstcarrental.co.za/Promotions/Birthday25thFirstConnect/ with all required information, including full name, email address, phone number, and any additional details as specified.
By entering this Promotion you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Promotion.

Prize Details:
One (1) grand prize winner will receive the following:
R25,000 car rental voucher redeemable at First Car Rental, to be used for one consecutive rental irrespective of vehicle type or rental length and is bookable via the First Car Rental website. Be sure that you have enough funds for excess authorisation on YOUR or your nominated Driver’s card, an additional driver fee will apply for adding any additional drivers to your booking. The reservation will be subject to availability.
Equivalent of R25,000 accommodation by means of a 7 night stay voucher valid at an domestic Marriot Protea properties subject to availability at time of reservation.
Two (2) domestic return flights provided by FlySafair, subject to availability at time of reservation.
The domestic flight tickets include airport taxes and one checked in bag, excludes extras like free changes, priority boarding, meal vouchers etc.
The prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternatives are available.

Winner Selection:
The grand prize winner will be selected in a random draw from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The drawing will be conducted within 7 days following the end of the Promotion Period.

Notification of Winners:
The grand prize winner will be notified via email within 3 days of the drawing date. If the winner does not respond to winning correspondence within 7 days of announcement and notification via email the winner will automatically forfeit the prize and there will be a redraw for an alternative winner.

Prize Redemption:
The grand prize winner must redeem the car rental, accommodation, and flight vouchers in accordance with the terms and conditions specified by First Car Rental and FlySafair. Any additional expenses incurred beyond the value of the vouchers will be the responsibility of the winner.
The prize will be valid for 1 year from date of competition closure.

Publicity Release:
By accepting the prize, the winner grants First Car Rental and its participating partners, the right to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

General Terms:
The Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Prizes are not transferable apart from changing the main driver on the car rental prize to someone over the age of 23 that is accompanying the winner i.e. one of the air ticket holders.
Additional driver fees will be charged if there is more than one driver.
By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of First Car Rental, which are final and binding.
First Car Rental reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice, for any reason.
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and First Car Rental regarding the Promotion and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral.
All First Car Rental Promotion participant details will be shared with FlySafair.
First Car Rental and FlySafair will onboard all entrant details to existing newsletters and or promotional email campaigns of both companies if not subscribed already, you are able to unsubscribe at any time upon receipt of any promotional material.
First Car Rental will have three similar competitions in different channels over the next few months, should you receive and are eligible to enter you are allowed to enter all three, but a previous winner will not be allowed to win again.
