Seniors Cruise Discount + R200 Credit

MSC Senior Club Discount
If you are 60 years or older, then you are eligible for this special. In addition to any discount already on offer for the cruise, you can get a further deduction as follows: 8% for an inside cabin booked; 10% for an oceanview cabin booked; and 12% on a balcony suite booked. This discount is only applicable to the cabin fare of the person who is 60 years or older, not the entire cabin.
MSC Anniversary Discounts
If you are lucky enough (or unlucky enough - depending how you view it!) to have been married for 25 or 50 years, celebrate this wonderful milestone by going on a cruise and getting either R250 per person off the fare available (for Silver anniversaries - 25 years) or R500 per person off the fare available (for Golden anniversaries - 50 years). This offer is combinable with any other discount already being offered on the cruise. It is only applicable when you sail within 6 months of your anniversary date and to the couple whose anniversary it is.

I agree with a previous client (see Purple section of Kulula September flights newsletter) who expressed his dismay that there are so few flights up the coast – he suggested Ct-Grg-PE-EL-Dbn – even GRG-Dbn are few and far between – think there is one a day and a return ticket is over R4,000 – this is ridiculous if you think you can almost fly to London for that price. And George is the heart of the Garden Route – am sure many folk would like to fly that route and skip the Transkei. Its a monopoly by SA Airlink at the moment – need some competition. Sheila

Cathay Pacific Johannesburg to Hong Kong flight loads (of passengers) are 6.4% up in July 2013 over July 2012 (although July 2012's number were distorted by Hurricane Vincente).
Fastjet Tanzania plans to retrench 12% of its staff as a result of it taking longer than expected to get regulatory approvals to launch flights on international routes. Fastjet is launching its first international flight route on the 27th September 2013, from Johannesburg to Dar es Salaam.
