Virgin Atlantic flights to London were Cheapest

The cheapest direct flights to London have fallen this week, with Virgin Atlantic offering flights from R7992* from both Cape Town & Johannesburg to London. With the cheapest 1-stop flight from Cape Town to London being R7114*, you're not saving as much as usual by flying 1-stop. Here are the cheapest Virgin Atlantic flights we could find in each month (in some cases there was very limited availability, so prices could well have changed):

Business class flights to London

There's been a LARGE drop in the cheapest business class flight prices from Johannesburg to London. The cheapest we could find was R30,219* with SAA on some days in November. From Cape Town the cheapest business class flights were with Virgin Atlantic.

Cheapest flights to London

The overall cheapest flights to London that we could find were R5824* from Johannesburg with Turkish Airlines, R7582 from Cape Town with Qatar Airways, and R8647*from Durban with Emirates.

London flight prices
Hopefully we'll be back to exploring London's magical streets soon! South Africa is currently on the UK's Red List, which means only British nationals are allowed to travel from South Africa to the UK and then they have to complete 10 days quarantine in a hotel. There are no direct flights connecting South Africa to the UK currently.
