The Wall Street Journal reported on the longest flight in the world, from Sydney to Dallas on Qantas. In actual fact the Johannesburg to New York flight takes longer (although it covers a shorter distance).

The Premier Class train service is only available between Johannesburg and Durban every Friday only. Departing at 18h20 arriving at 08h30. The fare being R 1,010 per person (can change).

The antidote for after-holiday-blues is to book the next holiday! We're looking forward to visiting the Point Hotel in February 2012. We saw Mossel Bay from our cruise ship in December, now we'll experience it by land :)
