Many travellers use Wilderness Air to get to their camp, and the flight costs to get to the camp are in addition to the above. Wilderness Air's number is +267 71 314 225 in Botswana, and this can be phoned to reconfirm anything. The flights are seldom cancelled but there is sometimes a delay. If at Kasane Airport, guests can wait in the lounge.

The time the guest will go on the flight depends on how many guests needs to be moved on the day and where they are all going to.
Sometimes helicopter transport is required, e.g. if an airstrip is flooded; it is important to note that the helicopters have very strict luggage limits.
It is not onlyh critical, but in fact a condition of travel to take out travel insurance; for instance,as "The Wilderness Group shall not be liable for any delays or additional costs incurred as a result of External Air Service operators (or self-flying Clients) either changing schedule or not running according to schedule for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions and operational delays. The Client shall bear all responsibility for, and indemnify the Wilderness Group in respect of, any expenses, charges, taxes, costs, levies, duties and other amounts incurred as a result of delays or cancellations of flights undertaken by the Client itself or by Preferred Air Service or External Air Service operators. All aviation activities (including any Air Services) are subject to applicable aviation legislation. The Clients shall bear the sole risk of incidents, accidents, delays and other events associated with the acts or omissions of operators, pilots or crew of Preferred Air Service or External Air Service operators (or self-flying Clients). The Wilderness Group shall only be responsible for costs in respect of delays incurred in respect of Internal Air Services and Preferred Air Services where the costs were incurred directly and solely as a result of a grossly negligent act or omission of the Wilderness Group. Save as aforesaid the provisions of clause 4 shall apply in respect of Air Services" Similarly, SA Travel Online cannot be held liable for the above.
