With so much inflation in other areas, it's good to see that there's not much changes in car rental prices since last time we surveyed Johannesburg car rental prices - Europcar and Imperial (who work together) dropped their price from R429 to R373, but we'd seen that already when we surveyed Durban car rentals last week (car rental prices don't differ much between Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town).

What is slightly more interesting is that both Thrifty Car Rental and First Car Rental are more expensive in Johannesburg than they were in Durban, in turn making Avis South Africa cheapest in this week's survey.
