Our previous car rental survey was of USA-Slovenia-travel car hire in Johannesburg.
Last weekend was probably the first time in history that France has played two internationals in Cape Town on a single weekend (Uruguay-France in soccer at Cape Town Stadium & Springboks-France in rugby at Newlands). Madlen won a French Kodak competition and wrote a summary of her trip from Paris to Cape Town. After an 11 hour flight from Paris to Cape Town, Madlen settled into her room at the Ambassador Hotel (Ed: we have fond memories of doing a review of the Enchanted Guest House, also in Bantry Bay), overlooking the ocean. Her comments on the sport:
Soccer: "there's a draw, as usual with French Team!??(Not really a good game, but the atmosphere was crazy with all these Vuvuzelas!)"
Rugby: "I was right, it's a defeat, and France lost 42-17!"
