We did this analysis for a family member who's flying to Johannesburg, and thought we'd share it with our readers. We checked the prices of renting a car from Johannesburg Airport (O.R. Tambo) from 13h00 on the 6th September until 13h00 on the 9th September (note that car rental prices may have changed since we conducted this comparison, and that there are factors other than price that you should take into account; like free km and, charge per km and waivers) .

Leanna does her medical internship in SA
All the way from Portland, Oregon (USA), Leanna is doing her medical internship in Durban (there's more medical action in SA than the USA!). She's been to Durban's St Mary's Hospital and the District 2 Hospital, and it's interesting to hear of South Africa's emphasis on learning through experiencing.
