All Durban flights have been to and from King Shak International Airport, since the 1st of May 2010. Before then, flights were to Durban International airport, which was situated to the south of the city. King Shaka is to the north of Durban's city, in the Umdloti area:

2014-11-10 New Luxury Lounge at King Shaka International: Durban's International Airport just became a lot more attractive for travellers with the opening of a brand new luxury lounge, the Umphafa VIP lounge. Lounge operator Menzies Aviation say that the new lounge trumps any other lounge currently available in South Africa and is on par with other international luxury lounge standards.
