In this week's survey we investigated the prices of travel on the Cape Town to Durban route for the first time in 2014. Mango CPT to DUR 1-way fares were cheapest - R969 per person. According to our findings, flight prices have decreased by 22% since the same time last year (which means our travel prediction number 1 for 2014 is working out). The cheapest land option we found was with Shosholoza Meyl at R500 per person per way. If you would like to hire a car from King Shaka Airport, you will be glad to know that we found a Citroen C1 or similar offered at R375 for a weekend's rental. Events in Durban
Catch comedian Joey Rasdien at the Suncoast Casino for his show 'Evolved" on the 31st of January and 1st of February 2014. This stand up comedy show will explore the topic of evolution and anthropology. Tickets are available for R100 per person.

Citroen C1 is cheapest at Durban Airport
This week we compared the rates of car rental in Durban from 21h00 on Friday the 31st of January 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 2nd of February 2014. The cheapest quote we found was R375 for a Citroen C1 or similar for the weekend's rental, offered by Car Trawler. (Prices can change).
