The Stellenbosch Wine Festival will take place from the 24th of January until the 2nd of February 2014. This festival takes place over the same period as the annual harvest and will allow viistors to watch this process as well as taste the produce.
JHB to CPT travel prices
In this first flight and bus price comparison of 2014, we looked at the prices of travel from Johannesburg to Cape Town. The most affordable flight that we found was offered by British Airways (operated by Comair) with a one way flight at R1172 per person (prices will change). The cheapest overland option was offered by Shosholoza Meyl's economy class train with a one way fare offered at R360 per person (prices may change). The cheapest car hire we found was a Citroen C1 or similar with pick up and drop off at Cape Town Airport. Please note that all prices will change.

Citroen C1 is cheapest at Cape Town Airport
This week we compared the car rental prices in Cape Town The cheapest rate we found was offered by Car Trawler when we compared the prices of car hire from 21h00 on Friday the 24th of January 2014 until 13h00 on Sunday the 26th of January 2014. Car Trawler offered a Citroen C1 or similar for this period at R375 (Please note prices are subject to change).
