Those in need of escaping the wet Cape Town winter should be sure to look at Mango's flight prices to Durban, where they can enjoy the warm tropical climate of Kwazulu Natal. Mango Airlines continued to show the cheapest flights on the Cape Town to Durban route with their Friday afternoon flight at R1 297 for a one way flight when we checked (prices may change). Coach trips to Durban proved to be the most affordable choice between the two coastal cities, with Citiliner's Friday morning bus trip at R490 per person for a one way trip (prices will change). Drivers can rent a Citroen C1 or similar from Car Trawler at King Shaka Airport for the weekend at R328. Please note that all prices can fluctuate.
Events in Durban
Take a trip down the South Coast of Kwazulu Natal to Amanzimtoti, where the Kuswag Carnival will be held from the 16th to the 18th of August 2013. The carnival will have more than 23 fun fair rides for all to enjoy, as well as food and craft stalls. Visitors can look forward to the "East Coast's Got Talent" talent show as well as lots of other live entertainment that will take place over the weekend.

Car Trawler cheapest vehicle rental at King Shaka Airport
This week we compared the rates of car rental in Durban from 21h00 on Friday the 16th of August 2013 until 13h00 on Sunday the 18th of August 2013. The cheapest quote we found was R328 for a Citroen C1 or similar for the weekend's rental, offered by Car Trawler. (Prices can change).
