Once again on the Durban to Johannesburg route, Kulula had the best airfares at the time this survey was done. Passengers arriving at Lanseria Airport will enjoy slightly cheaper flights than those arriving at OR Tambo Airport. Shosholoza Meyl continued to offer the best fares in the bus and train category of travel. Car Trawler at OR Tambo Airport showed the best rates for a weekend's rental. Events in Johannesburg
17 000 marathon runners will flock to the NASREC Expo Centre in Soweto for the Soweto Marathon, set to take place on Sunday the 4th of November. Shorter distance runners can also take part in the 10km and 5km fun runs that will be held.

Car Trawler is the cheapest car rental from OR Tambo
Car Trawler offered the cheapest rental prices when we priced the cost of renting a car from OR Tambo International Airport from 21h00 on Friday the 2nd od November 2012 until 13h00 on Sunday the 4th of November 2012. A Kia Picanto or similar will cost R335 for the weekend's rental (R167.50 per day). Please note that prices may change.
