Mango is cheapest to Durban 2011 |
10 June 2011 flights |
Mango happened to be running a 30% discount while we were checking flight prices, so their rate takes the cheapest prize this time around (R671.30) and means that the cheapest Cape Town to Durban flight on 10 June is cheaper than it was measured to be 365 days ago!We sourced prices of one-way flights, coach trips and train trips from Cape Town to Durban, leaving Cape Town between 13h44 and 20h31 on Friday the 10th of June 2011. The prices below will change - perhaps even by the time you read this.
This week City to City is offering the cheapest overland trip on the Cape Town to Durban route as the Shosholoza Meyl trips between Cape Town and Durban are still suspended (staff at Shosholoza Meyl told us that no one knows when the route will be back on 'track' - not sure that they intended the pun!).

There are two great craft markets that we recommend you visit this weekend. The one is a weekly Saturday craft market in Musgrave, called the Essenwood Craft Market. It's become an institution of sorts in Durban and boasts one of the best breakfasts available in the area. It also offers a range of kids' entertainment each week such as jumping castles and candle making.
The Shongweni Farmers & Craft Market is another not-to-be-missed market where the freshest fruits and vegetables straight from the farm can be bought at very fair prices.
For those individuals who aren't quite morning people, you're in luck! The K&K PMB Winter Fest is happening in Pietermaritzburg on Saturday 11 June - and it has an absolutely killer lineup! Between Jax Panik, Zebra and Giraffe, aKing and Flash Republic this is set to be one very sold out event!
