Given the level of interest in our August comparison of airline websites, we decided to redo the exercise - once again using Alexa Rankings. Remember the lower the Alexa rankings the more popular the website (please don't tell us about the problems with Alexa rankings - we know, but it gives a good idea of trends over time).

As can be expected given that flying season is arriving, most airlines have improved their traffic rankings. South African Airways has shown the best improvement in its ranking, of 35%. 1Time airline, Kulula and Nationwide had similar impressive improvements, whilst Mango airline lost ground (probably because it didn't give any tickets away over the period!). Interlink still doesn't rank in terms of South African traffic, but made impressive ground in terms of overall traffic (see below).
