4 Dec 2012. Turkish Airlines commences flights to Kilimanjaro.
4 July 2012. Kenya Airways begins flying from Nairobi to Kilimanjaro, on every day of the week except for Thursdays.
The 3 spots most people want to see are Lake Manyara, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Most safari tours commence at Arusha:
Lake Manyara is home to flamingos, baboons, buffalo, impala, hippos, elephants, wildebeest, lions (hard to spot) and leopard (hard to spot).
Serengeti : See lions, elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, monkeys, rhinos and hippos. Tip: if you want to hear the wildlife at night, stay in a tent.
Formed from a volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater is home to a plethora of wildlife including lions, black rhino, cheetahs, wild dogs, wildebeest, zebra, hipppo, flamingos and buffalo.
