Kulula Flights to OR Tambo

There are Kulula flights to OR Tambo from Cape Town, Durban, East London (ELS is the most recent new route added) and George. In fact, Kulula's 2nd flight ever was from Cape Town to OR Tambo International Airport in August 2001, and that was also the 2nd flight ever by a budget carrier in South Africa.

Even though Kulula gained a lot of fame for pioneering flights from Lanseria Airport, OR Tambo International Airport is still its most important hub in Johannesburg. ORTIA is simply the most connected airport in South Africa - all international flights are via it and it has the mmost domestic flights.

Use the flight bookings tool on the left to contrast airfares with other airlines and book a cheap flight.

For those not used to the lingo; "OR Tambo" is short for "OR Tambo International Airport" and is also sometimes referred to as ORT, ORTIA, JNB (its IATA code, which harks back to the days it was called Johannesburg International Airport) or Tambo.

All flights are in Kulula's signature bright green 189-seater Boeing 737-800s. So expect a modern medium-sized jet experience (and don't worry, they're only joking when they say that if you're caught smoking you'll be made to sit on the wing!).
