We are so happy to report that Skywise, South Africa's latest low cost carrier, is looking to expanding their routes! They started out very modest with only one route between Johannesburg and Cape Town. And now, just over 3 months since their launch, they are asking for your help with choosing their next route!
Voting should take place on their Faebook page and voters can choose between various routes departing from Johannesburg and Cape Town. Unfortunately one of our readers' favourite routes, East London-Port Elizabeth, is not on the list. Hopefully it will be a route they consider next time!
At the moment our readers can choose between:
(a) Johannesburg - Durban
(b) Durban - Cape Town
(c) Johannesburg - Port Elizabeth
(d) Johannesburg - East London
(e) Johannesburg - George
(f) Cape Town - Port Elizabeth
(g) Cape Town - George
Simply comment on the image on their Facebook page with the letter and route that you are voting for! To make your vote count, only ask for one route. So make sure that you get your say before voting closes! We can't wait to announce new routes for this airline and look forward to seeing what the future holds for them.
??"I booked to fly and was disappointed to see the payment section of their website was not secure. It doesn’t change to http:// or show the locked key icon when you are making the booking. That means that your card details are open on the internet. I had to book and then pay manually by deposit and follow up (I get benefits if I pay by card). They promised to fix this but haven’t advised yet. Check-in was smooth. There was a red carpet out, and an agent to ensure customers were happy. For some reason my issued ticket seat didn’t match my pre-selected seat, but this was rectified after I pointed it out. The flight was about 50% full (boosted by cycle tour numbers) so boarding was easy. The coffee is only R10 (Kulula is R12 and Safair R15). The staff were all professional and the flight arrived on time. I would recommend the service." Christopher Geerdts
