FlySafair | Vote for their Next Route + Kids Fly For FREE!

FlySafair is giving you the power to choose their next route. The airline has been flying on the CPT - JNB, CPT - GRJ, CPT - PLZ, JNB - PLZ and JNB - GRJ routes for over 6 months, and now they are planning to expand.

There are four possible routes that you can vote for. The possible routes are Johannesburg - Durban, Johannesburg - East London, Cape Town - Durban and Cape Town - East London. We have received numerous requests for new routes through our "Wish List for FlySafair" section on our FlySafair page. From the requests we received from the public, 38% of people have asked for flights between East London and Cape Town, 38% have asked for flights between Durban and Cape Town, 14% have asked for flights between Johannesburg and Durban, and 7% of the requests received asked for flights between East London and Johannesburg.

Kids Fly for Free in June

FlySafair has done it again! They keep on surprising us with new and innovative deals and specials week in and week out. Their newest promotion is one where they allow Kids to Fly for FREE! The promotion is valid on all flights purchased from today until the 16th of June 2015. The travel period for this sale is from the 1st to the 30th of June 2015. That means that only flights departing during the month of June are available on this promotion. The promotion only applies for children younger than 12 years old (12 year old children are excluded from this promotion). The discount only applies to the net fare, customers will still need to pay the airport taxes for the child. (The airline is not asking a fare for the child to fly, but they will not be covering the airport taxes, the customer will still be liable for the cost of the taxes). The child must be accompanied by an adult who has paid a full price fare. The offer can only be booked through FlySafair’s website. To read the full terms and conditions of this promotion please click here.

"I have had three flights on FlySafair and I feel that I would like to express my opinion on this airline. The flights were mainly OK. 1. The pricing is excellent value for money. 2. I was pleasantly surprised by the clean look and feel of the re upholstered cabin. 3. Also I loved the fact that I could book the exit row prior to check in. It does however come at a third class experience. After an hour in the air you start to realise that these planes are old. 1. My biggest complain would be the very smelly toilets and old flush system that overs on open position which is awful to say the least - a. After about an hour in the air the cabin air also smells foul and I felt that I needed a shower - b. The air hostess crew were neutral and neither good nor bad. 2. The second concern was that the ground staff are poorly trained and do not know how to handle a crises or delay. They let us stand out in the cold wind waiting for a bus to the airplane. 3. The pilot and air crew did not even find it necessary to apologise for a half hour delay from Johannesburg. I will fly this airline only if I am on a tight budget. My other 6 flights per month will be on modern airplanes. Also I would recommend new planes urgently."??
