Mango Happy Day Sale Time!

We can't think of a better way to end this week than with the Mango Happy Day Sale! This weeks sale starts today the 25th of September 2014 and ends on the 26th of September 2014 at 21h00. Once again the travel period is only up until the 31st of October 2014.

It seems like prices are stabilizing as all routes were at least R50 cheaper than the previous week and you require less Voyager Miles than for last week's sale. Since it is once again only running on selected dates until the 31st of October 2014, availability is running out on all the popular routes. We could only find one date available on the sale on the Cape Town to Lanseria route. Other routes like the Port Elizabeth to Cape Town route and the Johannesburg to George route wasn't even available this time around. Now is the time to book your flight until the end of October and hopefully next week you'll be able to book dates until the end of November 2014.

This weeks pick of the week is the Joburg - Durban flight available form as low as R749 or 12 000 miles. Availability was also good on this route but as you know these Happy Day Sale prices sell out very fast so book earlier rather than later to avoid being disappointed.

"My fianc?? and I recently celebrated two years together with a getaway to Umtamvuna River Lodge. Breathtaking is an understatement!! The lodge lies along the banks of the scenic Umtamvuna River, close to the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve, which boasts a wide variety of birdlife and vegetation. On arrival, I was excited to learn that the Wild Coast was just 10 minutes away, as I had always wanted to go there. Umtamvuna River Lodge offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city, nestled among tall palms with beautiful mountains in the background. We were woken up by the sounds of hadedas every morning and went for strolls on the river’s edge every morning. Because the establishment only offers breakfast, we got to explore other establishments  like Banana Macs as well as Beaver Creek, which is a coffee plantation about 4km away. A boat ride from the Wild Coast to the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve was a must. We tried our hand at gambling at the Casino, but alas, we were out of luck. Fortunately, we made enough of our money back to buy a nice lunch. The little town of Port Edward is quaint and quiet and the locals are really friendly. The locals know each other, so when they see foreign faces, I think they go out of their way to be friendlier, which is always nice. I travel a lot around South Africa and this was one of the most beautiful places I have visited, so I have decided to take my family on my next trip down the South Coast." - Beverley Dias
