British Airways passengers departing from France and the UK to the USA won't be able to board their flight if they are unable to switch on any laptops and cell phones they carry with them. This is merely a safety precaution to prevent the smuggling of explosives in hollowed out cell phones and laptops.

It is the Mango Happy Day Sale again!

The Mango Happy Day Sale has been extended by the Airline. The sale was to end on the 17th of July 2014. The sale now ends either when availability runs out or at 21h00 on the 18th of July 2014, whichever happens first. We found Happy Day Sale prices on some routes from the 20th until the end of July 2014, but most routes were only on sale in August 2014. We found great availability on all routes throughout August, except on the Cape Town to OR Tambo route for which we only found one date on sale.

Over the past two weeks we've found that less Voyager Miles are required for the HDS than previously. Durban to OR Tambo Sale flights only cost 9000 Voyager Miles and OR Tambo to Cape Town Sale flights only cost 15,500 Voyager Miles. Our pick of the week is the Durban to Or Tambo for only R570*. This is the ideal opportunity for Durbanites hoping to experience some real winter weather conditions and maybe even see some snow in Johannesburg!

"After I had finished my midyear exams I decided to go make my flight reservations at Bellville Shoprite, to my surprise I got the cheapest flight I could ever imagine. I got the flight for R400 (Kulula airline) even cheaper than taking a bus. My flight was scheduled for 16h00 from Cape Town international airport, I got there 15 minutes before the departure so the consultant suggested that I take the 8pm flight because I wasn't going to make it for the 16H00. I was so hurt having to extend my stay at the airport but I had no one to blame but myself. It was said I had to pay a certain percentage but when I got there to pay they said there wasn't a need to. My flight got there in time no problems encountered. The journey was so comfortable and the hostesses were so friendly. We got to Lanseria in time (22H00). Had the best experience ever, seeing that it was my first experience in an aeroplane. Rating 5/5." -
