On Friday Velvet Sky airline was placed under provisional liquidation.

It's been reported that 3 Air Namibia clients were arrested on the 22nd April for obtaining flight tickets fraudulently from an employee.

Turkish Airlines flight TK-40 left Istanbul on the 10th of May bound for Johannesburg, but diverted to Entebbe when the pilot needed to shut an engine down. The aircraft landed safely and a replacement Airbus ferried the passengers to Johannesburg 22 hours later.
