The Amathole Marine Protected Area (comprising the Gxulu, Gonubie & Kei area) has been declared the twenty first marine protected area along South Africa's coastline.

A Scandanavian holiday with a difference - (1) stay in the world's deepest hotel, the Mine Suite at Sala Silvermine in Sweden; (2) spend a night at the Ice Hotel - and hopefully see the northern lights.

"An increasingly prevalent type of fraud at ATMs is known as “skimming.” This involves placing a device that looks like part of the machine over the card slot. The device contains a card reader that records account information when the ATM is used, allowing cyber-criminals access to bank account information. In other instances, a camera is placed on the machine to record PIN numbers." Stratfor

The Purple shall rule! "Thank you Kulula! My daughter  and her friend were involved in a car accident on the highway near Ballito on Sunday morning, 9 october 2011. Their car  rolled several times and is a total wreck. Fortunately they sustained only minor injuries.  My daughters arm was put in a sling and tied to her body. They needed to return home as soon as possible. For us to drive down to fetch them would be time consuming and impractical. I phoned Kulula at 14h30 and at 18h30 they were on their way back home from King Shaka to Lanseria.  We are  very greatful that you could accomodate them at such short notice!
Mrs. A Potgieter"

The Bottom Line: "The virtues of a simple portfolio policy have been emphasized - the purchase of high-grade bonds plus a diversified list of leading common stocks - which any investor can carry out with a little expert assistance." Benjamin Graham's The Intelligent Investor
