2013-07-09 Rating 5/5 : "Every year I use my holiday points to take my family out for bonding time. As each our lives are hectic we don’t spend as much time as we need to. This also gets to include my siblings as well. We’ve driven to Cape Town, P.E., Knysna , Mpumalanga, The Drakensberg, Swaziland but nothing beats the Durban Coastline. More especially , the South Coast, We normally book a chalet from the company we have points with (Dream Vacations- RCI Resorts) . The resorts are always neat and tidy. Most resorts they own have cleaning service which comes in handy when you on holiday and not in the mood for cleaning up after the family. The hosts/receptionists are warm and friendly and so welcoming. Fun and games are offered which include the whole family. Outdoor activities like bowling, a jungle gym for little ones, tennis or if the weather is bad or you just feel like staying indoors, theres usually table tennis, snooker and the like. As everyone knows the weather in Durban is best in the country. Even in winter it is the best place to be at. Lots of Activities take place at this time of year as it co-incides with the winter school holidays. One can even swim at this time of year. Bacl at the coastline there’s whale watching, boat rides etc. In December certain areas like Margate have beach sport, an airshow etc. Most of the resorts are in close proximity to malls, should you forget something from home. And off-course for those that feel like a flutter there’s the fabulous and inviting Wild Coast Sun with all its splendor of comfortable rooms, swimming pools, the boating area and the latest addition of the “Wild Waves”. Overall, if I could blow a trumpet and horn and all that is necessary to tell the world how beautiful and warm Durban is with its multicultural population! I would over and over." Jean Reddy
