For the best views of Table Mountain, the Harbour and Robben Island choose a corner suite as high up as possible. |
The Table Bay hotel is a super-luxury hotel situated in Cape Town's Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, and in fact opening up onto the arcade. It's so nice that your biggest risk is that you wont be able to tear yourself away from it to see what Cape Town has to offer.
Looking at this photo you can see why the Table Bay Hotel has tremendous views of the sea on one side and Table Mountain on the other. The photo was taken on the 21st June 2014.
Here's a photo taken of The Table Bay Hotel from the deck of the MSC Sinfonia cruise ship, as she sailed into E-Berth at Table Bay harbour on the 14th December 2012:
The Table Bay Hotel is bathed in the early morning sunlight. The photo was taken from the deck of the MSC Rhapsody (at the bottom of the photo you can see a flag of the Rhapsody) as it was tugged into Jetty 2 (on the right) in the Victoria Basin. At the foot of the Table Bay Hotel is Quay 6, and cruise ships can often be viewed from the hotel's windows. Amongst the frequent visitors are the MSC Sinfonia and MSC Melody cruise ships (reservations can be made at Starlight Cruises). |
