The Dunes Resort
"During February this year my husband and I ventured beyond the Boerewors curtain in Gauteng to beautifully scenic Plettenberg Bay. As the parents of very busy twin boys, who are now 4 years old, this was our weekend time to recoup, recharge and reintroduce ourselves to each other. We had the pleasure of staying at The Dunes resort which is welcoming and cosy. I couldn’t help but take a photo of the notice in our bathroom that Plettenberg Bay is a draught stricken area – so keep the door closed!" Elizabeth Storbeck
T'Niqua Stable Inn
T’Niqua Stable Inn is a pet-friendly guesthouse just outside Plettenberg Bay. It comprises two family suites and four double suites. Each room has its own kitchenette and bathroom and all are serviced. The large living- and dining-room with a fireplace, TV and indoor braai opens onto the garden which has a boma, fire and sea view. Guests can book horse and carriage trips or horse riding, and there are trails leading from the property which are ideal for hiking
or cycling. Accommodation is self-catering though breakfast can be arranged on request. The venue is available for weddings and other special occasions.

Just past Plettenberg Bay on the N2 (the longest national road in SA), is the highest comercial bungee jump in South Africa, at the Bloukrans River.
