Both Thrifty Car Rental and Woodford Car Rental are hitting record prices for their car rental prices this week (all checked at Durban International Airport). Thrifty's R474 for the weekend is higher than their previous record of R411 on 30 August and Woodford's R561 is way higher than their previous record of R374 on 2 August 2008.

The biggest bungi jump
It's not often that we pick a blog of the week which has no photos, but Lee's description of his bungi-jump off the Bloukrans River bridge (the highest in the world apparently) was too compelling to leave out. Moving on with the Baz Bus from his last hotel in Plettenberg Bay, he overcame his fears to jump into the abyss, 8 seconds of freefall, pure silence, just you, the rope and the Canyon.
