Bus

Buses and minibuses are taxis are mainly found behind Swazi Plaza (except City to City, which has its bus station just off the main road at the southern end of Mbabane). Twice a week there are bus trips from Mbabane to Maputo. There are also mini-buses which can be taken.

Flights from Mbabane to Maputo

Given that there are no scheduled non-stop flights from Swaziland to Maputo, it is overkill to catch a flight rather than travel the 150km by land. If you absolutely insist on flying, the closest airport is Matsapha Airport (MTS) in Mazini, which is some 40km from Mbabane. Avis and Hertz operate car rental agencies at Matsapha Airport.
