Mango Flex - cheapest ever |
10 Jul 2009 flights |
Mango are cheapest (as usual) in this survey of Durban to Cape Town flight prices, but what's interesting are Mango Plus & Mango Flex's record low prices. SAA (lowest since 30 Jun 2007) & BA South Africa also are offering record low flight prices (so low in fact, that we booked our next Johannesburg - Cape Town flight with BA South Africa.

Roger enjoyed a thunderstorm in the Kruger National Park (which reminds him of ones in Montana); after which he hops onto a British Airways flight from Nelspruit to Johannesburg, and then a 1time flight from Johannesburg O.R. Tambo to Cape Town (and cant understand why anybody would want to name an airline 1time...guess he didn't pick up the finer nuances to the South Efrikan lingo). He points out that at Johannesburg O.R. Tambo there is "no seating" [Ed: Not sure why he got that impression, as there is some seating]. Something I found interesting, was his comment that the expression "take Away" is South African for "Take Out" or "To Go" (first time I'd realised it needed explanation). The blogs is well worth reading just for its descriptions of their language difficulties (e.g. them hearing " “how do you technique” for "how do you take it").
