Welcome on to the scene, "Kulula Air" - its previous incarnation, "Kulula.com", is now a generalised site covering Kulula card, Kulula Connect, Kulula Travel & Kulula Air. It would be nice to say that Kulula were also offering the cheapest flights on this occassion, but Mango take the prize for cheapest flight from Johannesburg to Cape Town (R860).

BA flight price highest since 25 Aug 2007
While Kulula is celebrating their new website, their Comair partner BA's flight price of R1444 from Johannesburg to Cape Town is the highest since our 25 Aug 2007 survey.
SAA site problems
The SAA (South African Airways) site ran into a few problems (do management realise that when this happens the income grinds to a halt).
Bus prices through the roof
Bus prices are skyrocketing - City to City, Intercape and Translux all clocked in with their highest prices of the year. Intercape's R540 price from Johannesburg to Cape Town is the highest ever recorded.
New Hampshire to South Africa
"Etaetzsch" is doing a Semester in Stellenbosch near Cape Town. Herself and her friend Chelsea caught a Mango flight from Cape Town to Bloemfontein, where they hired a Toyota Yaris to drive to Lesotho (through Maseru to Rambanta). Little known fact I found out - of all countries, Lesotho has the highest low point.
