With Nationwide closed down, 1time Airline sold out and SAA economy class sold out; it seems there is not enough capacity of the Cape Town to Durban flight route.
I'm not certain whether those who can afford business class tickets shop around, but SAA (South African Airways) are offering the cheapest business class flight from Cape Town to Durban, in our new business class survey. SAA are R310 cheaper than British Airways.
The price of coach trips slowly continue creeping upwards. Cheapest coach trip from Cape Town to Durban is the City to City coach. The most expensive coach trip (excluding Baz Bus, which really operates in the backpacker space and offers a different service) is the Translux coach.

LJ had bought a ticket for a flight from Kigali to Johannesburg to meet up with her Dad...unfortuanately the plane had broken down, so instead flew from Kigali to Nairobi and then from Nairobi to Johannesburg. LJ and her Dad enjoyed:
playing with baby lions and feeding them (Rhino Lion Park?)
visiting church communities in Johannesburg and Pretoria
going on safari in the Pilanesburg (which included being a few metres from an elephant...look at this great photo below)
"I have never met anyone like him in my life. It is not persistence - I've met persistent people - he is obsessive, about himself and his business. He's not interested in a good business relationship, or a social relationship, he is interested in none of those things, it's just me me me. I just think he's a horrid, horrid little man." Minister Mary O'Rourke expressing her views of Michael O'Leary - as expressed in the book by Alan Ruddock, "A Life in Full Flight: The story of the man who made Ryanair take off". And what did O'Leary think of O'Rourke - "She's an idiot. I'm very supportive of people who come from the midlands but I'm not supportive of an idiot no matter where they come from. Most politicians are idiots, but if you look at the scale of idiocy she'd be right up there at the top."
